In May 2008, the Superior Court of Quebec granted a plaintiff’s motion for authorization to proceed with a national class action on behalf of:

“Every person domiciled in Canada who claims to be suffering or to have suffered a loss of bone mineral density owing to the use of DEPO-PROVERA.”  (the”Class”)

In December 2009, the Superior Court of Quebec authorized the content of a notice and the manner of its distribution to members of the Class.  The purpose of this Notice is to provide information about the class action to members of the Class and a copy of the Notice can be viewed here.
